Wow...It's hard to believe that I've been writing on one novel for so long! I normally wrap up a short story around 5-7K words, but I have to admit I'm enjoying writing the novel. It's great to be able to cover more areas of the story how I want them to be covered and really show some character growth.
At times I do still worry that I won't be able to meet my self-imposed deadline, but then I'll write over 3K words in a single sitting and I think "Maybe I can do it!" I try to have more of those moments than any others!!
I am currently only 3.5K words behind schedule, but that will jump to 4.5K behind schedule at 7:00 pm PST on Friday. Of course, I am planning to write alot in the morning and get myself ahead of schedule in the coming week, so I'm not THAT concerned.
Well, time for me to pass out on my bed for a few hours!
